#MBFWMx Pineda Covalín: “Geography and mythology of Mexico”

Hi loves! How’s everything going on? Now that MBFWMx is over, I want to share with you some of my favorite collections. And what could better than starting with one of the best Mexican designers: Pineda Covalin. I’ll you my experience!

Inspired by the different geographical regions and mythologies of Mexico, Pineda Covalin presented its Spring-Summer 2018 collection in Altto San Ángel, during the most important fashion platform in the country: MBFWMx. Once again, Cristina Pineda and Ricardo Covalin demonstrated why the firm has stood out not only nationally but also internationally.

The collection, predominantly in blue and pink tones, did not leave behind the embroidery of pre-Hispanic figures – such a characteristic of the firm – as well as relaxed but stylized silhouettes. Without a doubt, one of my favorite looks was the one worn by the model Ale Infante almost at the end of the catwalk: embroidered white skirt and blue top.

Finally, I’ll share with you some of my favorite looks! What do you think?

Don’t miss MBFWMx coverage during this week!
